Profile
“We see the world, not as it is, but as we are.” – Stephen Covey
This quote perfectly encapsulates my approach to coaching. I believe that how we interpret our world deeply affects our experiences, and by reshaping those interpretations, we can transform how we engage with life and work. With over a decade of experience in education and leadership across the UK, Singapore, and the Middle East, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from incredibly diverse backgrounds. Whether it’s guiding expatriates through complex transitions or helping professionals in international organisations develop their leadership, my focus is always on unlocking potential through clarity and connection.
A Personal Journey of Growth Across Cultures
My own experiences living and working internationally have shaped my coaching philosophy. Having relocated multiple times and adapted to new cultures, I understand first-hand the personal and professional challenges that come with being an expatriate or navigating the intricate dynamics of a multicultural team. These experiences inform the empathy and insight I bring to every coaching session, helping me connect with clients on a deep and meaningful level. I know what it feels like to seek stability while everything around you is changing, and my goal is to support you in building a strong foundation that aligns with your values and aspirations.
A Solutions-Focused Approach Rooted in Narrative Coaching
My coaching is grounded in narrative coaching methods, where we work together to reframe the stories you tell yourself and uncover the truths that will help you move forward. I also integrate MIT’s Compassionate Systems Frameworks, providing structured yet empathetic tools to navigate complexity and stress. Together, we’ll create actionable, personalised strategies that not only address immediate challenges but also build long-term resilience. I’m particularly passionate about helping clients develop the skills to manage change, whether in their personal lives, careers, or both.
Specialising in Expatriates and International Professionals
I’m particularly passionate about supporting those who live and work across borders/expatriates, third-culture generations, and professionals navigating international careers. Drawing from my own experiences of adapting to new environments, I understand the complexities of establishing a sense of identity and connection in unfamiliar settings, all while striving for professional growth. My aim is to help you navigate these transitions with confidence, equipping you with strategies to succeed personally and professionally, no matter where life takes you.
What You Can Expect from Our Coaching Sessions
Clients often tell me that I create a space where they feel truly seen and heard. In our sessions, I focus on listening deeply to your concerns, reflecting back what I hear, and helping you build a plan that’s both solutions-focused and compassionate. I’m here to help you find clarity and create pathways toward the life or career you envision. Whether you’re seeking personal growth, professional development, or support through a major life transition, my goal is to be a partner in your journey, offering insights and practical tools along the way.
A Bit More About Me
Outside of coaching, I’m deeply passionate about education and inclusion, which has been a constant theme in my professional career. I’ve worked as a Head of Year, English Curriculum Leader, and Class Teacher, and I bring this experience into my coaching practice. I also love to spend time outdoors, and when I’m not coaching, you can usually find me hiking or exploring new places. Travel is one of my greatest passions, and it has given me a broader perspective on life, helping me appreciate the beauty of cultural diversity. This global outlook is something I share with my clients as they navigate their own international journeys.
